Scientific Theory
Abiogenesis: The gathering and study of data that "could" lead a reasonable person to conclude that life may have began by accident. (Problem, there is no such data for abiogenesis. Without data the theory is purely religious theory. That being the case it should be removed from public school classrooms so as to be not in violation of the Establishment Clause of the U.S. Constitution, or have it's competitors given fair and equal time.)
Creationism: The gathering and study of data that "could" lead a reasonable person to conclude it is impossible for life to have begun by accident.
Evolution: The gathering and study of data that "could" lead a reasonable person to conclude that life may have evolved.
The "non-judicial" (traditional) view of "scientific theory" and it's impact on evolution.
A third perspective
| Religious Theory
Abiogenesis: (1) A theory dealing with an issue of ultimate concern (how life began), believed to be fact through sincere faith. (2) A theory which incorporates a core religious belief found in all *varieties of Atheist Religion (*the most widely known variety is called "Secular Humanism", all other varieties of Atheism remain unnamed and unorganized to this day, highly individualized).
Creationism: (1) A theory dealing with an issue of ultimate concern (how life began), believed to be fact through sincere faith. (2) A theory which incorporates a core religious belief of all varieties of Theist Religion.
Evolution: (1) A theory dealing with an issue of ultimate concern (how human life came to be), believed to be fact through sincere faith. (2) A theory which incorporates a core religious belief of all varieties of Atheist Religion.
